Les Fleurs me
racontent - Flowers Telling Me
The music came
to me. It took me by the hand and showed me the way. A few years
ago, the flowers began to speak to me through music. It opened up a new
world of beauty and communication which I would have never thought existed.
Each flower told me something about life, love, relationship, farewell
and, again and again, about the endless beauty that exists in the world
of flowers.
The music also
brought me in contact with my inner beauty and the many experiences along
the journey of my life. I had heard about «The Language of Flowers»
books that had been written in earlier centuries and I began to research.
The content of my pieces of flowers matched the content of those books
every time and I was amazed. There must be a truth about communication
with flowers.
The music of
these compositions would be unthinkable without my visits to Claude Monet's
Garden in Giverny, France. I always felt connected to the Garden and Monet's
art and they will be a lifelong inspiration for me.
The new Double-CD
The focus of
the program with its 16 compositions is communication with flowers. Each
flower has its own theme. It tells about relationship, success, the will
to persevere, loss, love and - time and again - the beauty in nature. The
music came to her, says Regula Haener, it took her by the hand and showed
her the way.
The musician,
trained in jazz as well as classic music, creates in her compositions a
synthesis of the two directions. So emerged a deeply touching, atmospheric
and colorful music with innovative structures, meditative gems and sound.
An exhilarating feeling permeates the melodies, sound patterns, collective
improvisations and repetitive patterns.
The ensemble,
with its sensitive and diverse play, brings the music to blossom until
the sound space transforms itself into a garden.
